Daily Schedule

Here, you will find what your child's schedule will look like on a daily basis.

Please note that we have Chapel every Wednesday at 9 am.

Families are more than welcome to join us for the service.

Before Care

7am-8:30am

Breakfast is not served at school. However, your child may bring their own breakfast. We ask that you please be aware of products that may contain nuts or are made in a facility that produces nuts as we have a strict policy regarding allergy-containing foods. We are a peanut/tree nut free campus.

7:00 – 8:30 – Doors open, and students are welcome to play in centers under direct supervision of teachers until class begins at 8:30am. During this time, students are free to play with toys, puzzles, color, and read/look at books. We strive to help students learn to play/communicate with each other, clean up after themselves, and develop greater early literacy skills.

8:30 – Students are walked over to their classrooms where they begin their lessons and tasks for the day.

Class

8:30am - 11:30am

Each class differs in their schedule and lesson plans. You will be provided with your child’s class schedule from their teacher and updated monthly on the goals and lessons set for that month. Please note that each class incorporates outdoor time daily (weather permitting).

8:30 – 11:30 – Students participate in class activities and lessons.

11:30 – Class is dismissed.

After care

11:30am - 5:30pm

11:30 – 12:00 – Lunch time. Students may bring their own lunch (nut-free) or have the option to be served school lunch for $5.00. If bringing own lunch, please have grapes/hot dogs cut up in quarters. We unfortunately cannot heat up personal lunches.

12:00 – 1:45 – Students are brought to the nap room and have an opportunity to sleep or rest quietly. The school will provide mats and blankets for each child. However, your child is more than welcome to bring their own blanket and/or stuffed animal.

1:45- 2:00 – Students wake up, go potty, wash their hands, and say grace before heading back to the care/lunchroom for afternoon snack.

2:00 – 2:30 – Snack and socialize time. Snacks will be provided by the school and parents will receive a snack calendar for aftercare monthly.

2:30 – 2:40 – Teacher-led story time.

2:40 – 3:30 – Students will play outside, weather permitting. All teachers remain weather aware throughout the day to ensure safety for our students.

3:30 – 4:00 – Aftercare teachers present their lesson and students participate in related activities scheduled for that day.

4:00 – 5:30 – Students are free to play in centers that include hands-on activities such as puzzles, imaginative play, and interactive learning activities with teachers. These activities include playing games with students that enhance mathematical, reading, and writing skills.
