Our Mission

Our mission at Good Shepherd Lutheran Early Learning Center is to help guide children as God created them. Our desire is to help children realize the unconditional love God has for them, to help them know God's plan of salvation, and to see themselves as part of that plan. Each child will be guided in love to grow spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, socially and physically.

Our Philosopy

We believe that a child is not prepared for this world until they know God's plan of salvation and see themselves as part of that plan. They can best learn to live their faith when Christianity is a part of their life. Our curriculum strikes a balance between child initiated and teacher facilitated learning. As a Lutheran Early Learning Center, we strive for every activity planned to be based on a Christian point of view. We work side by side with you to help your child be the very best they can be.

Our History

The Good Shepherd Lutheran Early Learning Center has been in business since 1973. For many years, we served as a Pre-K through 8th grade school, but have been strictly a preschool since 2004. We have served generations of satisfied families and even have had a few of our former students return to work at our facility.

Our Curriculum

Weekday Early Education (WEE) Learn Curriculum is a developmentally appropriate weekday curricula for Christian settings designed for young children ages birth through Pre-K. WEE Learn is grounded in evidence-based practices, programs using the WEE Learn philosophy and curriculum work to support children and families.  Children’s individual differences and learning styles are considered as they learn through play and interactions with supportive early childhood teachers to maximize each child’s learning potential
